In the Macland.de-shop Macintosh-dealers can buy products if they are logged in in the frontend. An average visitor of this side can see all products presented, but cannot buy them. Dealers sees the prices without VAT (value added tax), the average visitor the recommendet sales-prices, including the VAT.

In the Macland.de-shop Macintosh-dealers can buy products if they are logged in in the frontend. An average visitor of this side can see all products presented, but cannot buy them. Dealers see the prices without VAT (value added tax),the average visitor the recommended sales-prices, including the VAT. This is made possible due to special marker-areas in tt_products.The Macland shop uses his own DB-table in place of tt_products.This makes it possible to transcrbe the table of ERP(enterprise resource planning)1:1 to the shop. This is possible due to an additional Extension that runs parallel to tt_products and refers to HOOK-funktions. The list of categories is implemented by the extended mbi_products_categories. Each product can appear in various categories and be shown in the fitting frontendlist. In the beginning we imported the categories out of an Export-Table of ERP. Now they are expanded in the form of a tree of categories in the backend and assigned. In the single-view related products are shown in a mini-list, too.Every night all products are erased with LINUX Cron Job and then reimported again. The products and addresses of the dealers are administered with an enterprise resource planning program and feed in. From there on the data is retained per FTP as an XML or CSV data file on your TYPO 3 server. With help the help of an IMPORT PLUGIN the data gets imported into the according shop tables.

With a Producer Select Box you can start a search only for producers. This search is immediately triggered with a change in the selection.
